Colleagues from Stockport NHS Foundation Trust are lacing up their trainers to take part in the Great Manchester Run. Team members will be taking part in a special NHS blue wave, to turn the streets of Manchester blue. Those taking part will run, jog or walk past some of Manchesters most iconic landmarks, and feel part of a great team atmosphere and spirit. 

We are fundraising for the Stockport NHS Foundation Trust general charitable fund. In the past, funds raised have gone towards funding for a dementia café, where patients can go to take a break from the ward environment, sensory play equipment for our childrens unit and much much more. 

Those of you who know me will know that I'm not a natural runner, so signing up for a 10K is a really big step for me!  Hoping that I will get fitter along the way and grateful for any support!
