At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page which the family has set up in memory of Jim to support the Alzheimer's Society.

As many of you know, Jim suffered from Alzheimer's for several years before passing away with his family by his side on 22nd February.

During his illness, Jim was looked after by many healthcare professionals. Our special thanks go to the staff at the Marion Lauder home for their dedication and kindness and the teams on Wards A10 and A9 at Wythenshawe Hospital who tirelessly supported Jim and the family during his final hours.

Jim's funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday 8th March, at Saint Anthony's Church in Woodhouse Park, followed by a cremation service at Manchester Crematorium.
