Story

The October Dress Project (octoberdressproject.blogspot.co.uk) was not our idea; it has been going on for a few years, starting with a couple of girls wanting to take a step back from materialism for a month. This year we decided to do it - and do it for charity.

Each one of us taking part has chosen a dress, and we will wear that same dress every day for the whole month of October.  Individually, we will all learn a little something about simplicity, imagination, conformity and materialism, while at the same time helping the larger world around us by raising money for a charity we all really believe in. We are looking for sponsors to help us raise money for the local Inverclyde branch of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Thank you very much for your support.  (And if you want to join us in the October Dress Project, please join the Facebook group! (www.facebook.com/groups/445132678872315)
