Story

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening

Firstly, thank you for looking at our page!

Secondly, here’s what we’re doing to try to persuade you to give us all your money:

The Office Depot Charity Committee are taking part in the Beacon Hill Easter Bunny Run! Thomas Chamberlain and Debbie Liggins will be heading out to Beacon Hill on Sunday the 6th April at 12:00pm to complete the excruciating 10k run up and down the hill twice!

The team will be competing the race in order to raise money for our colleague (Richard Page’s) charity: The text”ellis” Campaign.

In November 2011, just before his 4th birthday, Richard’s son, Ellis, was diagnosed with MECP2 Duplication Syndrome, a rare chromosome disorder.  This disorder may lead to Ellis never having the ability to walk or talk.  The risk of seizures from Epilepsy are also high and patients with MECP2 Duplication Syndrome are prone to chest infections which can lead to pneumonia.

The text”ellis” Campaign is aiming to raise £100,000 in order to help fund research into finding a cure for the MECP2 Duplication Syndrome, after researchers in Houston, Texas discovered ways to REVERSE the condition in mice!

So please help us to raise money by donating as much as you can using this easy peasy JustGiving Page.  Just click on the big green donate button in the top right hand corner and give as much as you can spare.

Thank you and good night!
