Story

2020 showed us that nothing is more important than health. So, we are starting 2021 with a health challenge for everyone in Odgers Berndtson. It's called Walk to the Moon and the Irish Office have decided to walk to the moon in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

Why walk to the moon? ........Why not? Let's give ourselves a big goal.
The moon is 384,400kms away and the challenge is for us as an International Group to cumulatively walk, run or cycle this distance together in 90 days, from the event start date of 1 February.

Monies raised will go towards Cystic Fibrosis Ireland and the Cystic Fibrosis Ireland International Walk, which our Office Manager, Elizabeth Weldon, will be partaking in this year.

CF Ireland (CFI) is a voluntary organisation that was set up by parents in 1963 to improve the treatment and facilities for people with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland. CF Ireland also co-operates with medical professionals to give maximum assistance to both parents and children/adults with Cystic Fibrosis. The International CF walk is Ireland's longest running charity walk, spanning over 27 years and raising millions for people living with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland. This year the walk will be held in memory of Elizabeth's father, Jerry Weldon, who was an avid fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
