Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We at Emmaus have been raising money for the Oldham Mountain Rescue Team (OMRT) throughout the year at various events such as a charity football match at Mossley AFC. Our next challenge is a 15k cycle ride and 10k run that will be completed by companions and staff of Emmaus Mossley.  

If you are familiar with Emmaus, you will know that we are involved with acts of solidarity throughout the year - helping individuals and groups in need. OMRT is run 100% by volunteers, who give their time and skills to help both individuals in distress and also support the emergency services throughout the year. They cover an area much wider than the Oldham borough and will often assist with search and rescue in Tameside and Manchester. 

They work hard and put in a lot of time to keep the training and equipment absolutely up to date to enable them to provide assistance at any time of the day or night. With your support we're aiming to raise £1,000 or as much as we can to help them continue their amazing work for our community.
