Old Pats supporting NHS.

Old Pats is a community rugby club and what better way than to support the people who are helping our community in these unprecedented times! 

We can't go out and there are lots of things we can't do but we can have some fun and raise money to support the staff of our local NHS Trust.

We are supporting the Gloucestershire NHS Trust COVID-19 Rapid  Response Appeal to raise funds to provide vital NHS staff with well being support. 

The appeal aims to provide help to our NHS teams wherever their need is greatest. By making a donation today to the COVID-19 Rapid Response Appeal you can support a number of projects including:

• ‘Boost boxes’ to give refreshment for teams as they work intensively to care for patients
• Wellbeing resources to help NHS staff alleviate stress while working under constant pressure
• Establishing fully equipped Staff Sleep Pods as places for staff to take a break during periods of intensive work and ensure they are not too tired to drive home.
• Fold-out beds to help staff rest and recuperate
• The provision of alternative transport to work such as taxi or a minibus if public transport is not available.

We are asking our members, supporters and parents (young and old) to 

join in with "The Old Pats Keepy Up Challenge" and direct message a video of 

your efforts to our Instagram or Facebook. We will share the 

videos on our page and would ask anyone to help by donating to support the 

welfare of our amazing NHS.

As well as raising some much needed funds, we may even put a smile on people's faces!
