WellChild Trek the Lake District 8 in 48 · 13 September 2018 to 16 September 2018 ·

WellChild is the national charity for sick children. We provide essential practical and emotional support for seriously ill children, young people and those who care for them across the UK to ensure they receive the best possible quality of care.

Story

It's time for another challenge, I will be hiking the 8 peaks in the Lake District in 48 hours, just days after submitting my final Executive MBA dissertation (yeah, I'm crazy...). With this hike, I will celebrate the two gruelling years of balancing full-time work and study!

Plus, all the training runs and hikes in the run up to the event will help me to stay sane and not get completely lost in the academic literature and writing. :)

So, if you want to join me in my celebration of completing the EMBA, please donate a few pounds in support of WellChild.

***Important, any amount I raise, will be match funded by Hilti (Gt. Britain) Ltd. So if I reach my £350 target, Hilti will match this by another £350, doubling the total amount for the charity.***

WellChild, are an incredible charity that works with seriously ill children and their families, giving them the best chance to thrive, by supporting them in their homes, through WellChild Nurses and Garden / Bedroom Makeovers.

In the last three years I actively supported a number of garden makeovers along with >100 colleagues from Hilti (Gt. Britain) Ltd, with all our hard work ultimately culminating in winning the WellChild Voluneer Company of the Year award in 2017: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXbBAp9kNNo. I was lucky enough to attend the award ceremony and meet the charity Patron Prince Harry :D.
