Story

Thank you for visiting my page!

I'm currently 15 years old and this August I am attempting the National 3 peak challenge (climbing up the 3 highest mountains in the UK in the space of 24 hours). I'm doing this with Phil Watson, Stuart Calow, Julian Francis and my Dad (Mark Fields).

I have chosen the charity The British Heart Foundation because of an experience my good friend had that I met playing football for Mansfield Town FC called Uzair Qayyum. Recently his Dad experienced a heart attack while at home, an ambulance was called and he was rushed to hospital. While in hospital his family had to stay at home, due to COVID rules, waiting anxiously, They received the news his heart had stopped and they were trying to keep him alive. Much later Uzair's family received the call saying his Dad's heart had stopped for just under a hour, however he was alive with no permanent damage.

Uzair's Dad was obviously very lucky, however many people aren't as lucky and sadly lose friends and family due to heart attacks. This is why I have chosen the British Heart Foundation and this is why I would like you to donate.
