Story

In April 2023 I'll be cycling 810 miles from John O'Groats to Tower Bridge, then running the London Marathon - all in the same week.

I'm doing this to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young, to fund cardiac screenings for young people in Nottingham. I'll be starting my journey on 17th April, the 2nd anniversary of losing my brother James to Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
