London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Hi all

On the 28th april 2019 I'll be running the London Marathon (I really hate marathons) to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK, wearing a giant Awareness Ribbon to attempt the Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon dressed as an awareness ribbon. (I couldn't think what else to dress as that was linked to the charity other than dressing as a pancreas, which may look a bit odd!).

I'm raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK as we sadly lost my amazing Auntie Claire to this horrible condition in 2017, who was so full of life and out there that she'd totally approve of me looking so ridiculous for 26.2 miles, and would no doubt have been able to make a far better giant ribbon for me to wear than I've managed as she was so arty.

Anything you can spare to donate will be greatly appreciated and will all help, no matter how small.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and a BIG thank you to all you amazing donators!!
