Story
I'm raising money for the Addenbrooke Charitable Trust, specifically for their Neuroscience Critical Care Unit.
I have always been motivated to push my physical limits but on Tuesday the 30th of July 2019 my life was changed forever. My dad had a cycling accident on the way to work. He was rushed to A&E where live saving care was provided.
Unfortunately the injuries he sustained were too severe and required specialist care. He was transferred to the Neuroscience Critical Care Unit at Addenbrookes hospital. All the staff that treated him were incredibly professional, compassionate and attentive. We couldn't have asked for anymore, even though he was unable to survive his injuries passing away 5 days later.
During my Dad's time in the NCCU what I witnessed filled my heart with pride and complete admiration for what they do and are able to achieve. The words of thank you's do not come close to the gratitude I have for what they do; so I decided to do what I can to support them in the amazing work they do everyday.
Please help me help them to carrying on delivering amazing life saving to care.
