Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Our daughter Amelia was born with biliary atresia which means her bile ducts didn't form properly. As a result of this she has liver disease and will probably need a transplant in the next 15years. The CLDF were a great source of comfort and gave us much needed information at a time when we were confused and upset while Amelia had her gall bladder removed and liver connected to her gut. The CLDF fund research into childhood liver disease and hopefully one day this research will lead to procedures that mean liver transplants will be a thing of the past. They don't get the publicity that a lot of other charities get but are a charity that is very close to our hearts so if you would like to sponsor me to run the Chelmsford marathon it would be greatly appreciated and going to a great cause. Thankyou for reading my story and whatever your contribution no matter how big or small will make a difference and like I said be much appreciated by myself, Kerrie and Amelia
