On September 7th 2013, I will be riding 100 miles with my current cycling team & some great old school friends to pay tribute to Nelson Pratt, a great friend that sadly passed away last summer, way before his time. Nels’ passing was unexpected and tragic beyond words.

Nels was a top bloke, a proper gentleman, everyone's mate and an unbelievable athlete - reaching the pinnacle of the snowboarding world by being a member of and coach to the British Snowboarding Team, with modesty like no other. You could write a book on his qualities but they were all first class!

I can think of no better motivation to not only complete, but to power through the hilly (5,600ft of climbing, i.e. not very easy!!) 100 mile course on Nels' home track - a course he rode numerous times. By raising a lot of cash for this worthy cause, hopefully we will help others in a similar position to Nels - people that need support.
