Brighton Marathon 2015 · 12 April 2015 ·

Every year we provide care and support to over 6,500 people across South East London, both at home and in the hospice. We passionately believe that everyone should have access to the best care at the end of their lives. We need to fundraise £16 million each year to continue our services

Story

I ran the Brighton Half Marathon on 22nd Feb, with my good friend Pippa Harper as my pacemaker. I ran my fastest ever half marathon, knocking over 8 minutes off of my fastest time. I am now preparing for a full marathon – the furthest I've ever run is 40K, so yes, this is a challenge for me.

I am running in memory of our much loved and missed friend Louise, who lost her life to an aggressive brain tumour in 2013. Louise's Birthday is 15th April (the day before mine), hence the marathon being a perfect time to fund raise.

St. Christophers Hospice were amazing to both Louise the love of her life, her husband Ross and their 2 beautiful children George & Agatha.

It would spur me on knowing that my marathon run will be for a good cause, however much you can donate, every penny counts.
