Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Every hour, 2 people in the UK are told they have Parkinson's. The estimated number of people diagnosed with Parkinson's in the UK is around 145,000. That's around 1 adult (ie people aged 18 or over) in every 350.

While the statistics are eye-opening, Parkinson's is something we know quite well due to a member of our family being diagnosed several years ago.

If through fundraising via a half-marathon, I'm able to raise even just a small amount of money towards the fantastic work of Parkinson's UK, a charity working hard to find a cure, I'll be over the moon.

Thank you for checking out my fundraising page - I appreciate all the support I can get as it all adds up to a fantastic cause that has, unfortunately, become rather close to home. Whether it's a donation or simply spreading the word, thank you ever so much.
