Story

Thank you for visiting our page. We will be taking part in the 10k run for the British Heart Foundation in Cardiff on the 29th of March. We want to raise awareness and support research into this growing issue. On the 23rd of November 2019 we lost a family member to a sudden heart attack at the age of 52. It came as a huge shock to us all, and is the reason we became inspired to take part in the run this year. Our loss made us reflect on the impact heart disease has had on our family such as the loss of Ellie's grandad at 57, and Ellie having SVT herself (super ventricular tachycardia).

Heart disease is responsible for the most deaths worldwide with 1 in 3 experiencing heart issues within their lives. This cause is extremely close to our hearts hence we ask for any donation, no matter the size, to try and help this fantastic charity.

When you run for the BHF, you run to beat the worlds biggest killers. Conditions like heart diseases, stroke and vascular dementia. You run for the people you love. You run for mums, for dads, for brothers, for sisters, for friends, for loved ones. You run to fund research that helps to keep families together. One life saving breakthrough at a time. Your donations have helped get us this far - heart transplants, clot busting drugs, genetic testing and so much more. So continue to support us, and fix your eyes on the finish line. Because together, we can beat heartbreak forever.
