Story
Oliver has asked to do a bike ride to raise money for Chester Zoo. Oliver was worried about the animals when he saw the news of them being at risk of extinction and wants to do something to help them.
Oliver is going to ride from Redcar Pier (The Beacon) to Saltburn Pier (approx 5.5 miles) on Sunday 21st June (weather permitting!) with his Dad.
He has a sponsor form from Chester Zoo and we have also set up this donation page. His target is to raise £50 so if anyone has a spare 50p or £1 and is able to pop him a little donation down he would be extremely grateful. Thank you 😊
The gates may be closed, but Chester Zoo is still doing all it can to prevent extinction. From conservation at the zoo with 35,000 animals, to helping wildlife organisations across the world to manage the impact of this global crisis, Chester Zoo is determined not to let coronavirus stand in the way of its vital mission. At such a time of crisis and uncertainty for everyone, I have chosen to raise funds for Chester Zoo so they can use it where they need it most and continue to make their mission of preventing extinction a reality and ensure the survival of species for the future.Together, we can act for wildlife!
