Story

It is my 40th and i'm sorry i wont be having a party or asking for presents. Instead i am asking everyone to consider donating to this wonderful charity of which i have recently been appointed a trustee.

We support young people who have grown up in and recently exited the care system.

The young people we support face many daily challenges without the help and support so many of us take for granted from family and friends.

Imagine growing up without the love and support of caring parents, being separated from your siblings to live in foster care or a residential home and then at 18 being told "you're on your own now - good luck" .

We exist to fill the gap that supportive parents would otherwise provide well into adulthood.

This is a treat for our young people that we simply cannot afford to fund without your help.

A day trip to the seaside over the summer isn't something they can even dream of so I want to make it a reality.

So if you were thinking of marking my birthday with a present or simply want to support this great cause please donate.
