In January I am aiming to walk loads (minimum 120 miles). I can’t run because I am developing arthritis in my knees but the walking will actually be jolly good for them! As a team us stunning folks at Venue Group are taking part in War Child’s Peace Band. Cumulatively we’re looking to clock in the distance from London to Huntsville, Alabama. 4245 miles. All in aid of raising funds for vulnerable children caught up in conflict affected countries who’s families are often forced to leave their homes and are left with nothing. War Child provide unbelievable support and help children develop skills that will help them in the future. Any contribution would be hugely appreciated and go to supporting an unbelievably worthy cause. <3

Whether it's helping Syrian children access education, rehabilitating ex-child soldiers in the Central African Republic or seeking justice for young people detained in Afghanistan. We also work with children and young people to change systems and practices that affect them. We campaign on the root causes of conflict, and we demand that children are at the centre of all humanitarian responses.
