Story
In December 2020, my mum was diagnosed with myeloma - an incurable cancer of the blood. This was of course a huge shock for the whole family, and at times has been extremely difficult to cope with.
Thankfully she is undergoing treatment and has a somewhat positive prognosis so far, but this has only been possible due to the amazing work of charities like Myeloma UK: research projects, clinical trials, access to treatment, and emotional support schemes are all funded by this charity with no government financial support.
This Myeloma Action Day (30th March 2021) I will be shaving my head to raise money for Myeloma UK and the amazing work they do to prolong the lives of people like my mum. Your support would mean the world to me, and your money could go a long way towards treating blood cancer - or perhaps finding a cure.
Please share, spread the word, and donate anything you are able to spare. Whether it's £5 or £500, every single penny makes a difference to families like mine.
And from the bottom of my heart: thank you. ❤️
