My brother suffers from Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, it's affected him all his life but thanks to LHM he has a community filled with people that understand his experience, and my family knows that we don't have to face this journey alone. 

We are in unprecedented and frightening times. Never before has the support, information and care provided by Little Hearts Matter been so urgently needed by the children, teenagers and adults living with only half a working heart. Every day they face the challenges created by their disability. Coronavirus has just added to their isolation, fear, lack of understanding. At a time when their support is needed most, LHM are faced with losing vast amounts of income. Taking part in this challenge will raise funds to help them be there for families.

I wanted to do something big but also personal on behalf of this incredible organisation and anyone who knows me knows that I have an intense and loving relationship with my hair, but losing it will be a small act compared to the amazing work they do.

My hair will also be donated to the Little Princess Trust and will hopefully make plenty of wigs.
