2010 Bupa London 10,000 · 31 May 2010 ·

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.

Story

Welcome all,

This Summer I will be subjecting myself to 10,000 of London's finest metres for the RNIB. I'm aiming to beat my last time for the distance, but that was some years ago when I was reasonably fit,...and younger! Whilst one of our number is partially sighted, I'm hopeful he won't hold us up!?! Stay tuned for the result.

I've decided to set myself the, I think realistic, target of £1,000,000,000. But I appreciate this may seem slightly excessive to some of you. As a result I have decided to upload a more embarrassing photo or video of myself for every £100 raised. It's in your hands now! I've put a mildly stupid one to start, and don't worry, there won't be anything indecent uploaded! The Justgiving blurb below tells you how it works so please help me out if you can!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks,

Ollie
