Story
It's Parkinson's Awareness Month.
This Sunday 23rd April, I will be running the London Marathon to raise money and awareness for Parkinson's Disease.
This a cause close to my heart and I will be running for my Grandad, who smashes through his Parkinson's battle every day. Parkinson's disease really is a massive challenge for any individual and their family, however we have never been so close to finding a cure.
Grandad Rog has always been a role model of mine, setting high standards especially when it came to sport, so I will be trying my best to make him proud and I'm hoping with your support we can get there!
A special mention must go to my Nana Val for the unconditional love and support my Grandad is blessed with every single day! Unfortunately, many people fighting this harsh disease don't have the same individuals around them nor access to such support; therefore, it is crucial to raise money to help provide the necessary support everyone fighting this disease deserves. Research funding is also key to helping people like my Grandad receive the best treatment possible each day and of course, eventually find a cure!
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee - Let's get donating to this amazing cause and charity!
