My Dad was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer nearly 6 years ago now. 

We have been on this roller coaster as a family and faced everything that Cancer brings with it. The journey has been incredibly difficult, but through everything we have had to face my Dad has remained forward thinking, positive and a complete and utter inspiration.

In 2020 my Dad decided, in the face of ongoing treatment and the adversity that Advanced Stage Cancer brings, to set up The Cancer Club. A charity with the sole focus of bringing men together who are in a similar situation to get them talking.

So I am running this half marathon for my Dad, and to help raise funds and awareness for The Cancer Club so that it can help other men facing this horrible disease.
