I am raising money in aid of Cystic Fibrosis (Cystic Fibrosis Foundation charity) to help support a friend who has a son with CF.

I will complete five events: Bourne Cycle Sportive 70 miles (done), The Great North Run Half Marathon (done), Belvoir Blast Cycle Sportive 60 miles (done), Cobblers Classic Cycle Sportive 60 miles (done) and finish with the New York City Marathon 3rd November.

All fund raising money goes directly to the CFF charity and my events, travel, accommodation are all paid by myself.

A bit about CFF charity and what they do:

They recognize that the needs of the cystic fibrosis community are complex, and no pace is fast enough when you or your loved one is waiting for a treatment. They will leave no stone unturned. Any science that they believe holds real promise will be funded. They will explore every strategy with the potential to cure CF. They will work tirelessly to ensure that all people with CF can live full, healthy lives and have hope for the future.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s unwavering focus on CF research has resulted in at least 10 therapies to treat the disease. They will continue to push the frontiers of science to find therapies that treat the underlying cause of this disease for 100 percent of people with CF and eventually lead us to a cure.
