Like many of the UK’s major cities, Birmingham’s homeless population has visibly soared in recent years. One only has to take a brief walk through the city centre to see the countless number of destitute people; many sleeping rough and suffering from addictions.

The current government is seemingly indifferent to the plight of the homeless. I believe we have a moral duty to help the less fortunate.
