When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.

My dad was hit by a stroke 5 years ago and I want to help families less fortunate than mine to help rebuild their lives after suffering from a stroke. Not all the rehabilitation is easily accessible and affordable so anything I can do to help others is something I am hugely passionate about. 

I’ll be running with Josh & Lucy. None of us have completed an official Marathon so this is going to be a real test for us but nothing compared to what the individual and families have to go through when effected by a stroke.
