Story
A team of us are raising money on behalf of St Paul's Youth Forum to buy three defibrillators for the North East of Glasgow. Currently there are very few in the North East of Glasgow, one of the most deprived areas of the UK. In more affluent areas of Glasgow there are the resources to offer this life saving pieces of equipment.
At St Paul's Youth Forum we work on reducing youth crime through diversionary work, giving young people a voice through Bolt FM radio, getting people moving and addressing transport poverty through On Bikes project, and providing a dignified approach to food poverty, by growing, cooking and eating together.
Five of us from the On Bikes project will be taking part in the Yorkshire Classic on 25th March, with Ben, Ricky, and Ali cycling the 123km route, and Indi and Meg cycling the 78km route on a tandem. That means we will be riding over 525km!
All donations are
MASSIVELY appreciated!
