Story
I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2015. And it it wasn't for the swift action of the NHS, things might have been very different. I discovered the lump purely by accident and only mentioned it to my doctor in passing. Within a week it was diagnosed and the very next day the testicle/tumour was removed. I was told that the tumour could have been growing for up to 18 months, and if it was left any longer would have most likely spread to my stomach or and lungs.
After a cycle of chemotherapy and a long recovery i am pleased to say it was in remission, and thanks to the support of the NHS, Macmillan and friends and family, things have been able to get back to normal.
There are many men like me out there that don't check themselves regularly, so thats why we are doing this rally, to hopefully convince a few more to do so!
