World Record Fire Station Visits · 31 December 2015

Fire Fighters Charity provides care and support to the UK’s fire family. It helps with any health and wellbeing challenges firefighters, control staff, and everyone working in – or retired from – the UK’s fire services, as well as their families, may face - during and after service

Story

I'm Andrew. An 11year old boy on a mission to visit every fire station in the UK, Ireland and the Crown Dependencies (with some international stations thrown in for good measure). I wanted to set a Guinness World Record - for visiting 250 fire stations in just 12 months. But Guinness have told me that I can't. Fire Stations are not 'Publicly Accessible' and the record suggestion has been disallowed. But I will continue on my journey.

In 2015 I visited 390 UK fire stations or fire related place (training facilities, HQ's, control rooms and similar). Now I have been to 1047 fire stations or fire related visits in the UK (Only counting first time visits, but some stations I have visited more than once - but the revisits are not included in this number), 10 in Denmark, 2 in France and 51 in New York.

Any money you donate through JustGiving will go to The Fire Fighters Charity, a great charity supporting the UK fire community.
