Story
Chaz Blinstrub was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia on the 14th July 2011 and passed away from complications of this disease on the 23rd February 2012.
Chaz battled his illness with determination and was confident of a positive outcome.
He was hoping to resume the final year of his degree at the University of Sussex and then proceed to a PGCE , for it was his dream to inspire others and thereby in his life he would 'make a difference'.
Chaz had raised nearly £4,000 shortly before his death for Leukemia and Lymphoma Research. He said that we should now address future fundraising to the Anthony Nolan charity and that lives saved by a bone marrow transplant from his campaign would mean that his memory would 'make a difference'.
Through the Chaz Blinstrub Memorial Virgin giving page, since Chaz passed away we have raised just over £14,000 for Anthony Nolan. With your help we can make even more and help save the lives of others. http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/chaz
