Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 16-25 year olds into a home and a job every year. Our award-winning helpline provides support to vulnerable young people across the country. We campaign to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Story

Having completed the toughest race on the planet - the gruelling Centenery Race to the South Pole - the team refuses to rest.

Andrew, Ben and Jason succesfully completed the 704km challenge, following in the footsteps of legendary explorers Scott and Amundsen. Facing temperatures as low as -50°c, the team struggled on for 6 weeks through sleep deprivation, frostbite, extreme weightloss and the challenge of navigating their way through winds of up to 100mph.

Undeterred, the team are now embarking on a 3 year challenge to raise £1million for Centrepoint through a series of extreme endurance events. Andrew is kicking off the 3 year plan with the Iceland Laugavegur Ultra Marathon this August, and the final challenge will be the team's attempt to row the Atlantic in 2015.

Centrepoint is the leading national charity that supports, houses and campaigns for homeless young people aged 16-25.

Centrepoint houses and supports up to 600 of the UK's most vulnerable young people every night. The charity not only offers a safe place to stay, but provides vital support and guidance with a focus on education, health, employment and essential life skills. The aim is to raise aspirations and empower young people move on to a successful independent life. For more information please visit www.centrepoint.org.uk
