Story

On 12th December, we'll be walking 20 miles from West London to Tower Bridge along the Thames path to raise money for Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Charity.

PKD Charity is oneninefive's chosen charity and a charity close to our hearts. We wanted to finish this challenging year with a challenge for ourselves, we'll be wracking up the miles come rain or shine.

PKD is not widely known about or publicised, so we've made it our mission to raise awareness to exactly what it is. As you may or may not know, about 70,000 adults and children in the UK may have Polycystic Kidney Disease or PKD. PKD is a life-threatening, inherited condition that can cause renal failure, and affect other organs in the body, as well as being very painful. We would be incredibly grateful for any donations in aid of our walk.
