One Small Step Pub Walk · 10 July 2021

The mission of Foundation for Prader-Willi Research UK (FPWR UK) is to eliminate the challenges of Prader-Willi Syndrome through the advancement of research. High quality research will lead to more effective treatments and an eventual cure for this disorder. FPWR UK was founded in 2010 by parents of children with Prader-Willi Syndrome.

Story

We’re delighted to announce that we are reorganising our 2021 One Small Step Pub Walk for Saturday 21st August

We were so disappointed that last year’s event needed to be
cancelled, but of course it could not go ahead. The Foundation for Prader Willi Research UK, as many charities last year, have suffered terribly due to the lack of fundraising events which is why we have been so desperate to organise an event this year. That, alongside it being a wonderful day which we get to spend with so many of our lovely customers and charity supporters!

Our pubs have also suffered over the last year and we have
unfortunately lost The Hesketh and Three Bears, meaning the route will be switched up and a little shorter. We’ll now be starting at the Fletchers Arms, stopping off at the Spread Eagle and Puss in Boots and finishing for the celebration party at the Jolly Sailor. We’re aiming to take the scenic route so that the walk will still be a good 10 miles.
