An organised 5 day trek through the Sahara Desert raising money to keep the helicopter in the skies above Lincs and Notts.

Story

Four ongo employees braving the heat by completing 100km of the Sahara desert.

Lavinia, Fran, Sarah & John will be taking part in the Sahara Trek Challenge in September, to raise money for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance. The trek, which takes place this year between 28 September and 6 October, will see a group of 15 people spend five days trekking
through the largest desert in the world in a fundraising effort to raise valuable funds for Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance. The trek is 100 KM in total and participants will endure tough conditions, very basic living and no home comforts for the duration of the trip.
To be able to take part, the team needs to raise £6000 so various events and fundraisers are currently being planned to reach the target.
