Story

Hayward House is a palliative care centre located in the grounds of Nottingham City Hospital.  It provides specialist, hospice-style care for people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, including motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s and cancer.

The Hayward House Appeal aims to raise funds for additional nurses, creative and complementary therapies and specialist staff to enhance the quality of life for patients at the most difficult of times.  The Appeal will also fund facilities such as peaceful gardens, quiet counselling rooms and space for loved ones to be together.

On Friday 20th December from 7pm there will be a gig for Hayward House at The Old Cold Store, Castle Rock Brewery, Queen's Bridge Road NG2 1NB.

Tash Bird, Matt Humphries, Betsey, Alfie Sharp and Margarita will be playing and entry is only £5 on the door.

Jackie P Gardner, 97.5 Kemet FM DJ and Notts TV presenter, will be our compere.

Hayward House is renowned across the region for its professional and considerate care. It offers a sanctuary, away from the typical hospital environment, where the medical, emotional and social needs of patients and their families are compassionately met.

Nottingham Hospitals Charity is dedicated to ensuring that your donations ease the demanding challenges faced by patients, families and staff.

Please give what you can to help Hayward House and/or come to the fabulous show we have lined up for Friday 20th December.  Thank you!
