Story

As many of you know, Emma was due to run the London Marathon in April 2020, however Covid meant that it inevitably was cancelled and with the new date shifting a few times she decided that rather than delaying any more to change up her challenge.

The new challenge is to cycle from Wallingford to the Dordogne in France. For this one Emma won't be alone on the journey as Brother James, Husband Ali and best friend Harrie are doing it too!

The ride itself is a 425 mile trip and we are hoping to reach our destination in 6 days, arriving just before Good Friday.

We are raising money in memory of Uncle John, the life and soul of any party! Following his diagnosis in 2018 he very sadly passed away early April 2020. Motor Neurone Disease affects around 5,000 people in the UK every year. The Motor Neurone Disease Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland focused on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND.

We've got less that 10 weeks to go! If you would like to keep up to date with us, you can follow us on Instagram @onyerbike4mnd.

Thanks for all your support so far!

Love,

Emma, Ali James & Harrie x
