Story
Three generations of amateur cyclists from the same family who normally only cycle to the shops and back are setting out from Holyhead (North Wales) to cycle the back roads to Cardiff (South Wales) over 6 days. One of us is in their 80's, one is in their 50's and one is in their 20's. The wisest one is aiming to complete day one (which is a huge achievement) and the other two are more foolishly cycling all 6 days - a total of 254 miles, not counting wrong turns etc.
Will they make it? With your help and support and encouragement they might just arrive at their destinations. Just.
Will they ever ride a bike again? This is not certain! They may never walk again!!!!
Our target is £2540, which is £10 per mile. But don't let that limit your donation!
Open Doors writes: "Over 260 million Christians face high or extreme levels of persecution. Put another way that's 1 in 8 Christians globally. We believe no persecuted Christian should suffer alone. We bring them hope and resources - and this is only possible with your help."
