I am taking part in the swim serpentine challenge to raise money for the WDC. I have always loved dolphins, whales and all sea creatures - as a mermaid this shouldn't be much of a surprise! I feel passionately that these animals need to be protected and treasured and their homes preserved. Whales are our natural allies against climate change as they absorb massive amounts of carbon over their lifetime, this needs protecting. 

As a member of the Planet Mermaid family I am always drawn to the water and the ocean, but I have never swam any distance like this before! I am looking forward to challenging myself and would love your support!
