SimplyHealth Great North Run 2018 · 9 September 2018 ·

Willow Burn Hospice provides free end-of-life and palliative care in County Durham for people living with incurable illnesses and those closest to them, now and in the future.

Story

On the 9th September a team of four people, Katrina Elliff, Chris Humble, Steve Kirsopp, and Mike James from Optimum Skills will be taking on the massive task of running 13 miles in the Great North Run. As a team they will be running to raise money for Willow Burn Hospice based in County Durham. The hospice provides essential individual care from a fantastic team of nurses, social workers, therapists, and counsellors. 70% of the care is funded by donations from the public, to help with end of life care. Therefore, this vital funding that Optimum will be raising will go towards the amazing care that is provided year on year.

If you are able to sponsor the Optimum team in any way you can, please donate on this site, every penny counts. We also have a name the bear competition, at £2 a ticket the winner will receive an electric scooter for children aged 8+.

Go team Optimum!!!!!
