Story

On Sunday 13th October, seven of Opus Energy's premier athletes* will be taking on the Oxford Half Marathon, a prospect which sounds a great deal more daunting now than it did when we signed up for it months ago!

To be sure, it's a challenge of Herculean proportions. We'll be racing an epic 13.1 miles around the streets of the historic city, all while professional event photographers capture our looks of exhausted anguish for posterity. All that's driving us is grit, determination, stubbornness - and our fantastic charity, Sobell House.

For over 40 years, Sobell has provided specialist care to those facing life-threatening illnesses and bereavement. They give physical, psychological, social and spiritual aid to over 3,000 people each year, and we couldn't think of any better motivation to get us over that finish line.

And that's where you come in! We're asking you to give what you can to help support this great cause. Every donation will contribute to the amazing work that Sobell does, and will mean the world to us as well!

Thanks so much, and stay tuned to see how we get on!
