Through local partnerships we are providing essential emergency support for refugees in Ukraine and Moldova. We will continue to provide long-term social action programmes for refugees, orphans, vulnerable families and children with disabilities.

Story

A Royal Navy Officer (Lt Cdr Andrew Hackland, the Ultra-running veteran), and a British Army Officer (Maj Tom Bevan, hates running, never done a marathon!) are taking part in the Wizz Air Kyiv marathon whilst supporting Op ORBITAL, the UK's military training mission to Ukraine's Armed Forces..

In collaboration with the British Embassy, we are taking the opportunity to raise funds for worthwhile cause. Child Aid to Eastern Europe are looking to buy a lone minibus to help support the communities and families supporting injured and disadvantaged children in Ukraine.

The British Embassy estimate the minibus costs approximately £50,000, and are encouraging donations to 'pay for' parts that would make up a minibus (imagine it’s like a Lego kit!). Major Bevan thinks he's paid for seatbelts and Leiutenant Commander Hackland is estimating the cost of the bumpers and lights in his donaton...

So dig deep and pay for a window wiper of your choice!
