Story

This will be the fifth year Gareth Henderson and Neil Ewing have taken part in the annual Pedal for Pounds event.  This year they are joined again by Graeme Henderson of Henderson Property and P4P debutant,  Orchard’s associate director James Holdsworth.

As long term supporters of Huddersfield Town’s Pedal 4 Pounds fundraiser, which has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds over the years for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the HTAFC 'Keep it Up' campaign, the team are looking forward to heading off on a European adventure, starting at Borussia Dortmund’s Westfalenstadionn Dortmund in Germany before pedalling their way back to Yorkshire.

The P4P8 route – dubbed The Wagner Way – has been inspired by the journey that Huddersfield Town head coach David Wagner and his assistant Christoph Buehler made last year. It covers 260 miles over 5 days starting on May 2nd and ending on Saturday May 6th at PPG Canalside in Huddersfield.

The cyclists will complete their traditional lap of honour at the John Smith’s Stadium to coincide with the final game of the season when Wagner’s side hosts Cardiff City.

Thank you for choosing to support Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA). As a charity YAA relies on the generosity of individuals & organisations to help save lives across Yorkshire. To keep both of Yorkshire’s air ambulances in the air we need to raise £19,000 per day. Thank you from the team YAA.
