You all know by now that we have been through a lot as a family over the last few months. Thomas has spent so much time in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for Sick Children & Young Children and the support of our friends at ECHC have made that stay a little easier.

They have cheered us up through art, music, therapy pets, aromatherapy, zoo artefacts and so much more. Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC) supports the life-changing work of Edinburgh’s Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. They work tirelessly to provide seriously ill children and their families with the extra support they need when facing a life-changing hospital visit. While the amazing NHS staff provide world class medical treatment and care; ECHC tries to bring more than medicine. Daily, they are speeding up recovery, taking away fear; providing reassurance, distraction and comfort every step of the way.

We hope nobody that reads this ever has to use the services of this charity but the job they do is simply fantastic and the smiling faces of every single person involved made many of our days a little bit brighter.
