The blessed month of Ramadan is upon us once again. It is a month of virtue, sacrifice and reward. One of the reasons fasting was prescribed by Almighty Allah is so that we may understand the struggle and hardships that poor and hungry people in the world face on a daily basis.

This year is no exception and in Iraqi Orphan Foundation we have a unique appeal called 'feed 1000 of the deprived Iraqi orphans'. Please help us to feed 1000 people for Iftar by making kind donations of Fidya (Kaffarah), Fitra, Sadaqa, Zakat, Khums, and Nathr.

The rewards for all good deeds are multiplied in the blessed month of Ramadan. The Prophet (S) said that "The best charity is that given in Ramadan”. Iraqi Orphan Foundation continues to be committed in alleviating poverty and suffering and has donated over £1,000,000 to different projects in Iraq.
