We have run and cycled for charity , the latest achievement was cycling 100 miles in one day for the Alzheimers Society raising over a £1000.

As we all love a bit of Strictly and the amazing outfits they wear it was mentioned one sunny evening last month what a great idea to enter the "Strictly for Woodlands" night of dancing and drinking at the Titanic Hotel, what a great venue for a special night !! Fortunately for me they already had enough women to take part but were short of men, so after a bit of persuasion and  a few glasses of red wine Lynne Garforth (my accomplice) who has also entered the event, managed to twist Adrian's arm to enter. 

Only 4 weeks to go and 10 lessons to squeeze in before the big night on the 3rd November 2017, Adrian will be putting on his Cuban heels and fancy outfit to dance in front of a room full of friends and strangers, what a nerve racking experience !! I will be supporting him the whole way by helping him raise £600 as the hospice can only survive through events like this.
