Oscar unexpectedly arrived into the world 10 weeks early on April 13th 2018.  He was sent to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Kingsmill Hospital where he received the best possible care and attention any parent could ask for.  

 Sadly, Oscar passed away on April 18th breaking our hearts.  Since then, it has been a struggle to try and return to normal life.  We feel that raising money for the Kingsmill NICU will give us some comfort, knowing that a brilliant neonatal unit will benefit and other premature babies will be able to receive the same second-to-none care that Oscar received.

We are planning 3 separate events, starting on Saturday 18th August with a wheel barrow race in Tibshelf.  Starting at the White Hart Inn, the race will be down the village high street to the Crown Hotel at the bottom.  Collection buckets will be available to make donations in all of the village public houses.

The second event is planned with Matthew's place of work, WhittamCox Architects and will see a team of colleagues tackle the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in September 2018.  Again there is a collection bucket available on reception at WhittamCox Architects Chesterfield office.

The final event will see a team of friends and family, attempt to cross the country from the west coast to the east coast! A monstrous 192 miles of grueling English countryside will test the legs of all involved.  This event is still at the preparation stages but we will post updates as and when developments happen.

Please help us reach our target of £1000 (maybe even make us raise the target!) so we can ensure that Kings Mill NICU can continue to provide the best care for premature babies in the area that we live.
