Story

Oscar is walking 4km to raise money for RMCH by doing a lantern walk at Heaton park on 13th November. The hospital has been involved in the care of some beautiful children of family friends and Oscar would like to raise some money to help them, especially ward 84, the children’s cancer ward.

Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital receives over 280,000 patient visits every year. For those children and their families it can be a very difficult time but with your help we can make it better for every child, every day. The support that Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital provides helps families to stay together and support one another during what can be a very difficult time for them. Our charity is about making a difference to the thousands of children we see every year. We do this by supporting projects that provide state-of-the-art and specialised equipment to help improve the diagnosis and treatment of children. We also support research that can help us to better understand childrens illnesses and provide the treatments of the future and we support projects that help to create a more child friendly environment. We want to ensure that not only is Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital the largest childrens hospital in the country - but one of the best.
