On Monday 27th February, our world was turned upside down when my younger brother Felix passed away, at just 19 years of age. The hole that has been left by his passing is enormous and as a family we are still trying to piece together what life now looks like without him. 

Felix spent the last week of his life in Airedale Hospital ICU, receiving an incredible level of care during his time there. The support they gave our family during his final days, and the respect and dignity they showed both us and Felix is something each of us won’t ever forget.

In memory of Felix, I will be running York 10K on 6th August 2023. I would like to raise whatever I can to give something back to the charity that supports the hospital, enabling them to continue giving the level of care and support our family experienced to others who need it.

It’s safe to say, I’m not the biggest fan of running (anyone who has shared a football pitch with me will attest to this 😂) so for me this will be a challenge. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is wholeheartedly appreciated. Thank you!
